Hakan is a seasoned executive currently serving as a Chairman, Independent Board Director, and Angel Investor. He began his career in 1990 at Koç Holding, where he spent 11 years as Group Manager of the Supply Coordination Group, overseeing strategic coordination and M&A research for the automotive portfolio. He later held senior leadership roles including Deputy General Manager and CFO at Mako Elektrik (Magneti Marelli) and Assistant General Manager at Döktaş, where he managed global sales and purchasing operations exceeding €360 million annually. Prior to his most recent leadership role, Hakan served as the Group CEO of İnci Holding, directing a diversified portfolio across the automotive, logistics, and manufacturing sectors. Over more than six years at Tekfen Holding, he first led the Agri Industry division as Vice President and General Manager of Toros Tarim, before becoming the CEO and President of the Group of Companies in 2023. Throughout his tenure, he chaired the boards of 10 group companies, driving large-scale transformation, lean manufacturing initiatives, and sustainable growth. In 2026, he continues to leverage his expertise in governance and risk oversight as an independent director and advisor. Hakan holds an MsD in Industrial Engineering and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Boğaziçi University. He also completed the Executive MBA program at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and the Executive Leadership Programme at Stanford University
