Mete İkiz

Mete İkiz is a seasoned investment banker and private equity professional with extensive experience in corporate finance, fund management, and the sports industry. He currently serves as a Member of the Board of Directors at the Corporate Governance Association of Turkey (TKYD) and the Board Members Association (YÜD), where he contributes to the development of governance standards for Turkish sports clubs. Mr. İkiz began his career in the Corporate Finance Department of TSKB and later served as the Head of Corporate Finance at Yapı Kredi Invest, where he led an investment banking team responsible for numerous high-profile mergers and acquisitions, initial public offerings, and privatization projects. Following his role as Executive Vice President at Inter Investment, he served as Investment Director at London-based NBGI Private Equity. In this capacity, he co-managed a fund focused on investing in established SMEs with regional growth visions across Turkey and Southeast Europe. Following the acquisition of NBGI's funds by Goldman Sachs and Deutsche Bank, he became a Partner at the newly formed Stage Capital, where he was responsible for managing investments across Turkey and the Balkans and served as a Board Member for various portfolio companies. Mr. İkiz earned an MBA in Finance from Bentley University and a B.A. in Political Science and International Relations from Boğaziçi University, following his graduation from St. George's Austrian High School. He is fluent in English and German, is married, and has one child.
