Rıza Kadılar

Dr. Rıza Kadılar, the President of the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC) Turkey, was elected as the World President of this institution for the 2018–2020 term. Having served as a senior bank executive in Turkey, France, the United Kingdom, and the Netherlands, Dr. Kadılar currently serves as the Country General Manager and Representative of an international investment bank in Turkey. Alongside his professional career, he lectures at Boğaziçi University and Bilgi University and serves as a trustee on the board of the Hisar Education Foundation (HEV). As an "evaluator/expert" for the European Council's H2020 innovation program, Dr. Kadılar has delivered speeches and training sessions on personal development, leadership, and governance in over thirty countries for more than fifteen years. He is the author of five books, including "Mentoring: The Art of Unity and Wisdom", "From Talent to Leader: A Guide to Purchasing Corporate Coaching Services", "Facilitation: The Art of Meeting Management", and "CARBON: Opportunity or Threat?". His business articles are published in Bloomberg Businessweek, and he is a member of the editorial board of the London-based magazine "Global Trade Review". After graduating from Middle East Technical University (METU) with a degree in Industrial Engineering, he completed his postgraduate studies with a Master's in Economics from Stanford University and an MBA from HEC Paris. He holds a PhD in "Press Economics" and graduated from the "Strategic Bank Management" program at INSEAD. Dr. Kadılar began his coaching education in 2005 with training at CTI in London and graduated from the AoEC Advanced Diploma in Executive Coaching program in 2010. He was instrumental in developing the accreditation system for mentoring programs within EMCC and currently serves as an international assessor and referee in this field.
